T.J. Walker was a member of the Azusa Pacific Men's Basketball team from 1997-1999. Walker is the first Azusa Pacific Men's Basketball player ever to be named NAIA All-American first team in two different seasons (1998-1999). He is also the only player in the Golden State Athletic Conference history to be named conference player of the year twice (1998 and 1999). In the 1999 season, he was the runner-up for the NAIA Player of the Year award. Walker led Azusa Pacific to back-to-back NAIA "Final Four" appearances and a 63-11 record; which included a 25-3 conference record and two GSAC championships. Throughout his career at Azusa Pacific, he averaged 15.4 points and 5.5 assists during his 74-game Cougar career. Walker put together one of the best single-game performances in Azusa Pacific history with 38 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, five steals, and a blocked shot in just 32 minutes of play in a victory over Concordia.
