Clayborn Jones was a member for the Men's Basketball team at Azusa Pacific from 1964-1966. He was named an NAIA All-American in back-to-back years (1965-1966). He was named the Golden State Athletic Association MVP two times (1965 & 1966). In 1964-1965 season at L.A. Pacific College, he averaged 35.8 points and 20.4 rebounds a game. During the 1964-1965 season, he was the nation's third leading scorer. He had single game bests that included 71 points and 31 rebounds.
