Paul Nath was a 2-time NAIA All-American honorable mention wide-receiver for Azusa Pacific from 1978-1981. During his career at Azusa Pacific, he set the career records for receptions (199), receiving yards (2,824), and touchdown receptions (25). Five school records set by Nath, stood for at least 15 seasons, including the most receptions in a game (13 vs. Sonoma State). In a memorable game against the University of Redlands in 1980, Nath caught the game winning touchdown. Azusa Pacific was 21-15-1 during his four seasons with the university, including 15-5 during his final two campaigns.
