Azusa Pacific University Athletics

Kojo Asamoah was Azusa Pacific's first-ever 100-point scorer as a member of the Azusa Pacific Men's Soccer team from 1979-1982. Asamoah was a NAIA All-American honorable mention in 1982, and the only Cougar to ever be a 4-time NAIA All-District honoree. In his freshman season in 1979,  he was nominated to the National Christian College All-Western Region.  Throughout his career at Azusa Pacific, he tied the school record form most goals in a career (43) and set the school record for most assists in a career (23).
