Cedric Reed was a member of the Azusa Pacific Men's Basketball team from 1973-1975. Over the course of his career, he posted a scoring average of 23.9 points per game. He is the Azusa Pacific Record Holder for points in a game with 45. In 1974, he led Azusa Pacific to its first NAIA Tournament appearance. Over the course of the 1974 season, he averaged an Azusa Pacific record 25.2 points per game, and was named to the NAIA All-District 3 First Team and the NAIA All-American Second Team, and named the tournament MVP at Redlands, Point Loma, and California State University of Stanislaus.
