Cindy DeYoung was a member of the Azusa Pacific Women's Basketball team from 1982-1986. Over the course of her four year career at Azusa Pacific she set 11 Azusa Pacific records, and is the school's all-time scorer (1,929 points) and rebounder (1,210). She averaged 16.2 points and 10.6 rebounds per game throughout her career at Azusa Pacific . In 1986, she led the Cougars to their first 30-win season and their first appearance to the 1986 NAIA Tournament. In her career, she was a 2-Time NAIA All-American (third team), 3-Time NAIA Scholar-Athlete, and 4-Time NAIA All District 3, and the 1986 NAIA District Player of the Year.
