Hall of Fame
John Tully was elected to the Azusa Pacific Hall of Fame in 1991. He served as a member of the Azusa Pacific Football and Baseball teams from 1970-1973. As a member of the Football team, he was the first Cougar quarterback to start in all four seasons. He established career marks for attempts (666), completions (318), passing yards (4,436), touchdowns (32), and total yards (4,531). In 1971, he passed for 1,480 yards and completed 103 passes. He passed for 1,053 yards and 1,272 yards in 1972 and 1972. As a member of the Baseball team, he batted .354 and .299 in two seasons.
