Jason Wyatt was a member of the Azusa Pacific Football and Men's Track & Field teams from 1990-1993. In his two seasons as a linebacker with the Azusa Pacific Football team, he led the team in both tackles and tackles-for-loss in 1990 and 1991. Throughout his entire Football career, he recorded 171 career tackles, including 14 tackles-for-loss, eight sacks, and two interceptions. As a member of the Azusa Pacific Men's Track & Field team, he was a six-time NAIA champion in shot put, sweeping the event at both the indoor and outdoor nationals for three consecutive seasons (1991-1993). He was a member of two NAIA Outdoor National Championship teams in 1991 and 1992, and threw a career-best 58'8" at the 1992 championship meet, earning him fourth best in Azusa Pacific's history at the time.
