Jack Nance was a member of the Azusa Pacific Men's Track & Field team from 1987-1989. Nance is the NAIA Decathlon record-holder in the high jump (7'1") and the Azusa Pacific record-holder in the high jump (7'1"). Throughout his career at Azusa Pacific, Nance led Azusa Pacific to the 1987 and 1988 NAIA Outdoor Team Championships and was a Seven-Time NAIA All-American (decathlon & high jump), and 2-time NAIA Decathlon Champion (1987 & 1988). He became the fifth athlete in NAIA history to win back-to-back decathlon crowns, and the eighth Cougar ever to record over 7,000 points in a decathlon.
