Jennifer Babel was a member of the Azusa Pacific Women's Soccer team from 1996-1999. She was a three-time NAIA All-American, appearing twice as first team honoree. In 1998, she earned the GSAC Player of the Year, leading Azusa Pacific to its first ever Women's Soccer National Championship. She scored a career 25 goals, the most ever by a Cougar defender in Women's Soccer history. She helped lead a Cougar defense that produced 44 shutouts over her four-year career, including a school record 15 shutouts during the 1998 NAIA National Championship season. She started every game of the Cougar's program-record 37-game unbeaten streak from 1998-1999, which included 22 shutouts. Over the course of her career, she played and started 89 of 91 games, starting 84 consecutive times beginning with the eight game of her freshman season.
