Hall of Fame
Marvin Mardock coached at Azusa Pacific for 19 years, from 1961-1980, and was inducted into the Azusa Pacific Athletics Hall of Fame in 1992. During his tenure at Azusa Pacific, he coached the Basketball (1960-1963), Cross Country, Football (2 seasons), and Track & Field teams. In 1980, he was named the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year. He led two Azusa Pacific teams to District III track & field championships. As well, led three Azusa Pacific teams to District III men's cross country championships. During his time as the track & field coach, he coached nine national track & field individual event winners.
