Hall of Fame
Keith Stroup was a member of the Los Angeles Pacific College (LAPC) Men's Basketball team from 1961-1964. As a Junior for the Men's Basketball team at Los Angeles Pacific College, he was named to the UPI Small College All-America Second Team. He was the Nation's top small college scorer, scoring 28.9 points per game. As a senior, he was named a UPI Small College All-America honorable mention, and placed in the top 25 in college division scoring. During his time at LAPC, he earned three straight All-GSAA honors. He earned three straight All-Tournament teams at the LAPC's Pacific New Year's tournament. Stroup was remembered to be a tough competitor, outstanding shooter, complete player, personable, and respected by other teams. His accomplishments at Los Angeles Pacific College were recognized by Azusa Pacific University in 1992, as we was inducted into the Azusa Pacific Athletics Hall of Fame.
