Josh Henderson was a member of the Azusa Pacific Football team in 1993 and 1995-1996. He was a two-time tackles leader during his three seasons at Azusa Pacific. Henderson started 18 of 19 games in his final two seasons, helping lead the Cougars to a 7-3 campaign in 1996. In that 1996 season, he set the single-season record with 137 tackles in a ten game season. Throughout his entire career, Henderson recorded ten-plus tackles in ten of 28 games he played, including six games of his senior season, as well had 22 career tackles-for-loss, including four sacks. In his final game in his career against Chapman, he finished with a career-high 17 tackles, making it the fifth time in his career in which he made at least a dozen-or-more tackles in one game.
