Hall of Fame
Art Jenkins was inducted into the Azusa Pacific Athletics Hall of Fame in 1992. From 1964-1966, he was a member of the Azusa Pacific Men's Basketball team. During his two seasons at Azusa Pacific, he averaged 17.1 points and 6.7 assists per game, and held a career free throw percentage of 77.4. Throughout his career, Jenkins was notably recognized as an outstanding defensive player. His accomplishments, earned him an All-District III honorable mention. At the time of his induction he was the school's third highest scoring guard in APU history (924 points). He is recognized for being a charter member of the APU Men's Basketball Hall of Fame
