Chris Stempson was a member of the Azusa Pacific Men's Soccer team from 1989-1992. Stempson was a four-year starting defender and spearheaded a defense that allowed just 1.7 goals per game during his career while recording 13 shutouts. He is Azusa Pacific's first ever three-time NAIA All-American in men's soccer, earning first-team honors in 1991 and 1992, and third-team recognition in 1990. He was named NAIA All-District 3 for three consecutive seasons. Throughout his career at Azusa Pacific, he scored six goals and had ten assists (22 points) during his college career. Following his senior season in 1992-1993, he was selected and played in the 1993 Umbro/NAIA Senior Bowl in Springfield, Ill.
