Ade Olukoju was a 17-time NAIA All-American and a member of the Azusa Pacific Track & Field team from 1987-1990. Throughout his four year career at Azusa Pacific, he helped lead the Track & Field team to three team NAIA National Championships. Olukoju won an NAIA record 15 individual crowns in the shot put, hammer, discuss, and 35-pound weight throw during his career at Azusa Pacific. As well, he set the NAIA records for the discus (210', 3") and indoor shot put (63'9 1/2"). In 1990, he was named he Male Outstanding Performer of the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Not only did Olukoju succeed at the collegiate level, he was a participant in the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, where he now holds the Nigerian record in the discus throw.
