AZUSA, Calif. - No. 15 Azusa Pacific women's tennis continued its strong start to the spring season, cruising to a
6–1 victory over
Concordia Irvine on Wednesday afternoon at the Munson & Bayougian Tennis Complex.
The Cougars wasted little time seizing control, locking up the doubles point behind depth and efficiency across the lineup. Stina Larsson and Karola Suviste opened doubles play with a convincing 6–1 win at the top spot, while Kimberly Tran and Vini Bautista were in front 6–4 at No. 2 before the match went unfinished. Azusa Pacific added the final doubles result by default at No. 3 to secure the early 1–0 advantage.

Singles play followed the same script, with it clinching the match quickly and emphatically. Tia Kaukenas earned a point by default at No. 6, and Mariana Reveles Arreola delivered a dominant 6–1, 6–0 performance at No. 5. Kimberly Tran added another commanding win at No. 4, blanking her opponent 6–0, 6–0 as the Cougars built an insurmountable lead.
At the top of the lineup, Stina Larsson closed out a 6–1, 6–3 victory at No. 1 singles, while Karola Suviste continued her strong play with a 6–3, 6–1 decision at No. 3. Concordia Irvine's lone point came at No. 2 singles after a mid-match retirement.
