FULLERTON, Calif. – Azusa Pacific sent a handful of athletes to the Titan Tune-Up on Friday, and the Cougars had a few first place finishes and set some new personal records.Â

On the men's side, Daniel Bessolo ran the fastest 400 time of the day, crossing the finish line at 48.04 seconds, and Raymon Harper tied for first place in the high jump event, clearing 2.05m (6' 8 ¾"). In the men's javelin, Logan Peyton was the top collegiate finisher on the day, as he placed second overall with a mark of 59.77m (196' 1"). Chin Agina was the women's high jump champion, as she cleared 1.68m (5' 6") on her second attempt. Sara Wagenveld had the highest pole vault clearance of the meet, as she was able to rise over the bar at 3.86m (12' 8") on her first attempt at the height.Â
