IRVINE, Calif. - No. 9 Azusa Pacific picked up a 6-1 road victory at No. 17 Concordia on Saturday afternoon. The Cougars are now 5-3 on the campaign.

Concordia opened the match by winning the No. 3 doubles matchup, but the Cougars would win at No. 1 and No. 2 to grab the 1-0 overall lead. Ryan Nuno and Sam Sippel won 6-3 at No. 2, and the No. 1 duo of Jakob Schnaitter and Leyton Bohren clinched the point (6-3).

Azusa Pacific took five out of the six singles matchups to cruise to the win. Sippel won first at No. 2 (6-2, 6-3), and Schnaitter gave the Cougars the 3-0 lead with a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 1. Bohren once again came through with a clinching performance, winning at No. 4 (6-2, 6-4) to secure the team's fifth win of the year. Nuno won at No. 3 with a superset tiebreaker in the third set (2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (5)), and Caden Samkutty was victorious in two sets at No. 6 (6-0, 6-3). The Eagles lone win came in the No. 5 matchup.
