In the third period, Pacific scored three straight goals to grow its lead up to 11-2, while Azusa Pacific was held scoreless. In the final period, the Cougars scored four goals, while Pacific added two insurance goals. Two of the four Azusa Pacific goals in the period were scored by freshman Milena Guzmán Ortiz, who leads the Cougars with 37 goals on the season.

Guzmán Ortiz finished the game with two goals, and two steals, while Tisdale had a goal and a game-high five steals. Pastor Alvarez finished with a goal, one assist, and two steals. Sophomore goalkeeper Oliva Lott played all 32 minutes for Azusa Pacific, and she finished with six steals.
