Azusa Pacific travels to Santa Clara, Calif. for the Golden Coast Conference tournament where they will face the No. 5 seeded host team Santa Clara in the first round at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 28.

The Cougars and the Broncos faced each other earlier this season when the Cougars came out on top 10-9 in overtime.
 
The game saw seniors Megan Myers and Alex Paxton with hat tricks and freshman Sarah Adams with the game-winning goal. In the net for the Cougars Erica Marquez tallied saved 17 goals.
 
The winner of the first round will move onto the Semifinal game against the No. 1 seeded San Diego State University Saturday, April 29 at 1:30 p.m. If the Cougars were to lose in the first round they would play for fifth place Sunday, April 30 at 10:30 a.m. against an opponent yet to be decided.

Two Cougars earned All-GCC honors, for the second year in a row, Mar Pastor Alvarez  herself a spot on the All-Conference Second Team. Mireia Tutusaus Alcaraz earned All-Freshman Team honors after playing in every game as a true freshman, leading the team in assists with 27.
