The Cougars concluded their regular season with a conference loss to California Baptist University 11-10 in overtime. Taking some time before the game to acknowledge seniors, Alex Paxton and Megan Myers.

Azusa Pacific finishes the regular season in a three-way tie for fourth place with Santa Clara and California Baptist in the Golden Coast Conference. The Conference official seedings will be released on Monday, April 24 on the Golden Coast Conference website and will be announced on Azusa Pacifics official athletic twitter.

Annalise Batcheller registered the first goal of the day to give the Cougars an early lead. Mar Pastor Alvarez notched a hat trick in today's game recording her first goal late in the first. Not far behind Pastor, the Lancers found the back of the net to close the gap 2-1 going into the second quarter.
 
Myers opened the second with a 5-meter goal for the Cougars. The pool was still until midway through the quarter when Pastor scored on a power play. The Lancers answered back scoring a 5-meter goal. Sarah Adams joined in on the scoring notching one with help from Paxton. The Lancers scored one more before the first half could come to an end as they continued to trail the Cougars 5-3.
 
Mar recording her fourth hat trick of the season with her third goal of the game. The third quarter saw the Lancers outscoring the Cougars 3-1 tying the game up 6-6 entering the fourth quarter.
 
With back to back goals, the Lancers took an 8-6 lead over the Cougars. Up until Paxton and Britt Harris recorded a goal a piece forcing the game into overtime.
 
In the fifth, the score bounced back and forth as Pastor found the net for the fourth time between two Lancer goals.
 
The Cougars were trailing 10-9 entering the sixth until Batcheller found the back of the cage tying the game 10-10. With thirty seconds left in the game, the Erica Marquez blocked a Lancer goal that was rebounded my the Lancers who took the game-winning shot with seconds left in overtime.
