SAN DIEGO, CALIF. - Azusa Pacific held the No. 11 NCAA water polo program in the country to a single digit score in their 8-3 loss this afternoon. The Golden Coast Conference lose to San Diego State brings the Cougars even 3-3 in conference play and 13-12 overall.

The first quarter saw the Cougars being outscored 2-1 as Senior
Alex Paxton recorded the lone goal for Azusa Pacific.
Arianne Yeo matched the Aztecs one goal in the second keeping the score tight at 3-2 going into halftime.
The net only saw one goal in the third quarter courtesy of the Aztecs who grew their lead 4-2.
The Cougars single goal scored in the fourth made by
Britt Harris was out done by the Aztecs four goals, bringing the final score to 8-3.
Azusa Pacific wraps up conference play Saturday, April 22 at 11:00 a.m. against Cal Baptist where they will recognize their seniors, Paxton and
Megan Myers.
