Valeriia Kashina and
Jackie Resler wrapped up their match at the No. 2 spot with an 8-5 victory like their teammates.
Kara Hinton and
Jourdan Jefferson fell to an 8-5 deficit at the No. 3 slot.
Entering singles leading 2-1, Kashina continued the Cougars winning as she beat her opponent 6-4, 6-4 at the No. 3 slot. Resler defeated her opponent 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 5 position. As teammate
Nicole Arribere dropped the Cougars only singles match, 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 6 slot. Hinton clinched the Cougars victory at the No. 4 slot beating her opponent 6-4, 6-4. At the No. 1 position, Johnson took down No. 45 Nikki Newell 7-5, 6-2.
Lisa Schneider went into three ultimately coming out on top 7-6, 3-6, 10-5 in the No. 2 spot.
The Cougars travel to California State Fullerton Tuesday for a 1:30 p.m. match against the Titans.
