Biography
2016 (offseason) : Schneider was the seventh seed in the women's ITA West Regional championships, winning three matches before meeting teammate Valeriia Kashina in the quarterfinals. Schneider came out 6-1, 6-1 to move on to the semifinals... The duo of Schneider and Natalie Johnson, seeded second in the tournament, won their first match of the weekend against Holy Names' Julia Golub and Amandine Clouvel 8-0... moved onto beat J'Ana Diamond and Ebone Qualls of Stanislaus State in the round of 16, 8-2... The Cougar tandem continued their winning run, beating Concordia's Samantha Schuster and Johanna Keeline 8-1. It wasn't until they ran into third seeded Nozomi Matsuoka and Kayleigh Hall of Cal State Los Angeles, they saw trouble and dropped an 8-3 decision in the semifinals.
2016 (junior) : Went 14-5 in singles... playing primarily in No. 1 both singles and doubles 11-10 in doubles partnered with both Lilit Vardanyan and Natalie Johnson... She beat Regina Koch twice when Koch was regionally ranked No. 15 and No.18 Point Loma 7-6(8-6), 6-0 and 6-2, 6-3... Partnered with Natalie Johnson she beat regionally ranked No. 5 dou of Jesyn Warren and Jordyn Kearney... She was recognized as third team all-PacWest for singles... and second team all-PacWest for doubles partnered with Natalie Johnson... Reached No. 11 in the West Region...
Southern Miss: Went 17-24 in singles dual matches in two years at Southern Miss, playing the top three positions... Won two of her four matches at the No. 1 position for the Division I program... Had 26 wins overall at Southern Miss in singles... As a freshman, had a 12-5 mark in doubles in duals matches.
2015 (offseason) : Reached the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA West Regional in the fall without dropping a set in her Cougar debut... In the second round, defeated the No. 10 player in the NAIA last year Ivana Vlakic from Concordia, 6-0, 6-4... Won her third consecutive match 6-2, 6-4 before falling to the eventual runner-up in two tight sets... Partnered with Lilit Vardanyan in doubles for two wins to reach the quarterfinals before falling to the eventual champions from UCSD.
High School: Attended Gymnasium Hilpoltstein, while playing junior tournaments individually... In 2010, reached the last 16 of the LBS Muller Junior Cup, which is an under 16 event on clay in Germany... The following year, won three matches in a row in straight sets over players from Belarus, Ukraine, and Ethiopia to reach the quarterfinals.
Personal: Born on March 14, 1995 in Roth, Germany to Alexander and Ines Schneider... Has one older sister, Nina... Majoring in business management... Enjoys being with friends and family, skiing, and going to the beach.
