Todays 6-3 win over California State University, Los Angeles Golden Eagles brings the Cougars overall record to an even 2-2.

The Cougars started the evening without dropping a doubles match. The pairing of Natalie Johnson and Lisa Schneider edged the Golden Eagles Noomi Matsuoka and Kayleigh Hall 9-7 in the No. 1 slot. While teammates Valeriia Kashina and Jackie Resler earned an 8-4 win over opponents Iris Raileanu and Isabella Lopez in the No. 2 position. In the No. 3 spot, Lilit Vardanyan and Kara Hinton beat Elizaveta Sokolova and Luciana Di Laura 8-6.
 
Schneider and Halls paths crossed for the second time today ending in a Schneider victory edging Halls 6-2, 6-4 in the No. 2 position. Kashina recorded a 6-4, 6-4 win over Sokolova in the No. 3 slot. Resler came back to beat Lopez 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 6 spot.

The Cougars are scheduled to play nationally ranked No. 19 University of Redlands Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
