AZUSA, Calif. – It was an offensive explosion.
Azusa Pacific cruised to a 20-5 victory against Concordia in a Golden Coast Conference match-up on late Saturday morning.

The 20 goals were a season high, eclipsing the previous high of 14. It is the most goals for the Cougars since the 2014 season when they scored 21 against La Verne in an early season match-up.
In Saturday's win nine different players scored for the Cougars. Leading the way was Britt Harris' five-goal game while Arrianne Yeo and Alba Espinar each contributed a hat trick to the scoring barrage. Megan Myers, Mar Pastor and Ashley Taylor got into the action with two goals each. Also of note Carinna Prince scored her first collegiate goal.
After winning the first quarter by a 4-1 margin, Azusa Pacific put some distance on the scoreboard in the second quarter. A six-goal frame all but put the game away as the Cougars held a 10-2 lead at intermission.
During the final two quarters Azusa Pacific won the periods by five- and two-goal margins respectively.
Splitting time in front of the cage was the tandem of Katie Margot and Erica Marquez. The made five and nine saves respectively.
