AZUSA, Calif. — #22 Azusa Pacific delivered a commanding performance Wednesday afternoon, sweeping Western New Mexico 7–0 at the Munson & Bayougian Tennis Complex to improve to 11–2 on the season.
The Cougars quickly established control in doubles play. Tia Kaukenas and Mariana Reveles Arreola started the momentum with a dominant 6–1 win at No. 3 doubles. The nationally ranked tandem of Stina Larsson and Karola Suviste followed with a 6–2 victory at the top court to secure the doubles point, while the match at No. 2 was left unfinished.

It carried that momentum into singles play, where the Cougars controlled every court from start to finish.
At the top of the lineup, No. 33 Stina Larsson delivered a flawless performance, blanking her opponent 6–0, 6–0 at No. 1 singles. Vini Bautista quickly followed with a 6–3, 6–1 win at No. 2, and Shannele Lopez extended the lead with a straight-set victory at No. 3 (6–4, 6–0).
The Cougars continued to dominate down the lineup. Kimberly Tran secured a 6–3, 6–3 win at No. 4, Melis Mert cruised 6–2, 6–0 at No. 5, and Mariana Reveles closed the match with a hard-fought three-set victory at No. 6, winning a match tiebreak to complete the sweep.
