AZUSA, Calif. – The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee has announced the official qualifiers for the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and Azusa Pacific will be well represented. A total of
fourteen Cougars –
twelve women and two men – have earned the right to compete among the nation's best from
May 22–24 at the
CSU Pueblo Thunderbowl in
Pueblo, Colorado.
Student-athletes qualified for the championships by meeting a
provisional standard and ranking among the top performers nationally. For individual events, the
top 22 declared student-athletes were selected; for relay teams,
the top 16 per event (one per institution); and for multi-events, such as the decathlon and heptathlon,
the top 16 competitors were accepted.
Men's Qualifiers
- Dominic Gonzalez-Shelmire (Sr.)
• 400 Meter Dash – Qualified with a time of 45.80 seconds, ranking him among the top quarter-milers in Division II.
- Lincoln Krog (Sr.)
• Decathlon – Earned his place with 7,539 points, placing him securely within the top 16 in the country.
Women's Qualifiers
- Alayna Verner (Sr.)
• 400 Meter Dash – Qualified in 53.45 seconds
• 4x400 Meter Relay – Will anchor APU's nationally ranked relay squad (3:38.03)
- Olivia Alexandre (Sr.)
• 800 Meter Run – Earned her spot with a time of 2:05.72
• 4x400 Meter Relay – Contributes to APU's relay team, ranked among the nation's elite.
- Esther Conde-Turpin (Jr.)
• 100 Meter Hurdles – Clocked in at 13.21 seconds, one of the top times in Division II.
• Heptathlon – Enters with a score of 5,974 points, the highest among all qualifiers.
- Jessica Kampman (Sr.)
• 3000 Meter Steeplechase – Qualified with a time of 10:31.78
- Eliana Saunders (Sr.)
• High Jump – Cleared 1.74 meters to punch her ticket to nationals.
- Nouhayla Errahili (Sr.)
• High Jump – Joined her teammate with a qualifying mark of 1.73 meters
- Hannah Richardson (Jr.)
• Shot Put – Top national contender with a throw of 16.70 meters
• Discus Throw – Qualified with a mark of 50.21 meters
- Molly Olson (Sr.)
• Shot Put – Advanced with a throw of 14.68 meters
- Luisa Fischer (Sr.)
• Javelin Throw – Threw 50.14 meters to qualify
• Heptathlon – Scored 5,616 points, placing her in the top tier of multi-event athletes
- Ashley Hume (Sr.)
• Heptathlon – Qualified with a score of 5,061 points
- Trinity Miller (Sr.)
• 4x400 Meter Relay – Integral part of the Cougars' relay team that posted a time of 3:38.03
- Kiayra Holmes (Sr.)
• 4x400 Meter Relay – Completes the relay team lineup for APU

The NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships will take place
May 22–24 in
Pueblo, Colorado, hosted by
Colorado State University Pueblo. All events will be
streamed live on NCAA.com.
