Cougars Win 3 Straight

APU shuts out Chaminade 1-0 to remain perfect in PacWest play

Honolulu, HI — Luis Solis delivered late drama in the islands, smashing home the winner in the 84th minute off a cross from Raul Lavado as Azusa Pacific edged Chaminade 1-0 at Saint Louis Field. The result marks the Cougars' third straight win and keeps them undefeated in PacWest play. APU now sits at 3-5-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the PacWest. 

APU controlled the night with sustained pressure, outshooting the Silverswords 18-5 and creating the better looks before finally breaking through. Goalkeeper Alexis Rodriguez recorded a clean sheet without needing a save as Chaminade was held to zero shots on goal.
