THIS YEAR: One of 11 seniors on the team, Raul Lavado offers Azusa Pacific great depth in the backfield and valuable experience ... Will push for substantial playing time as well as a starting post in the Cougar defense.

2023: Appeared in 11 games with 8 starts for Azusa Pacific during his 2023 junior season … Recorded 720 minutes of play, earning his lone assist on a Mario Shuteriqi goal in the Cougars' 5-0 victory at Chaminade. 

JUNIOR COLLEGE:  Spent 2 seasons at Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College where he played with current Cougar teammate Zedan Mutlu ... Recorded a goal and an assist in his time with the Ravens ... Earned academic honors during his 2022 sophomore season

PERSONAL:  Birthday is July 7 ... Majoring in Kinesiology
