GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA, Calif. - Azusa Pacific track & field competed at the Mt. SAC Relays and the UC Riverside Invitational on Saturday.
At Mt. SAC, the women's 4x400 clocked the fastest time in the nation this year.

Maliyah Medley, and
Alayna Verner ran 3:37.73 to improve upon their provisional standing, leaving them at No. 1 in the nation. This effort also claims the No. 2 spot on the Azusa Pacific all-time performance list.
At UC Riverside, a group of Cougars achieved personal-best marks in the long jump.
Olivia Baerny jumped 5.79m (19'0") out-jumping her previous best by almost a foot.
Sierra Nelson leaped 5.71m (18'9"), and
Alysa Betiong jumped 5.26m (17'3¼") to claim career-bests. On the men's side,
Daniel Pope PR'd with a jump of 5.83m (19'1½").
Up Next: The Cougars head to Westmont next weekend to compete at the PacWest championships from Friday, April 26 to Saturday, April 27. Both the men's and women's sides are favored to capture their 8th straight conference title.
