AZUSA, Calif. - Azusa Pacific who is currently ranked #30 nationally earned a 7-0 sweep over MSU Denver at the Munson & Bavougian Tennis Complex on Friday to close out their perfect 4-0 week. 

The Cougars started off the match with a doubles point victory. Madison Kane and Miruna Tudor secured a 6-1 victory at No. 1 before Julia Jordan and Vini Bautista lost their set on No. 2. Katherine Nguyen and Shannele Lopez secured the doubles point on No. 3, winning 6-2 to take a 1-0 lead. 

Azusa Pacific then swept all their singles matches in straight sets en route to a sweep over the roadrunners. #32 nationally ranked Kane won steadily on No. 1 6-0, 6-2 defeating #21 Emily Hafner from MSU Denver, before Jordan earned a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 2. 

Bautista then secured her 10th singles win of the season, earning a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 3. #30 nationally ranked Tudor came through on No. 4 with a 6-1, 6-2 win, and Nguyen collected a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 5. 

Lopez then closed out the match on No. 6 with her 11th victory on the season in straight sets 6-3, 6-0.
