Biography

THIS YEAR: Jordan reached the ITA West Regional doubles semifinal in her first year as a Cougar and reached the final with Vini Bautista this year. The All-PacWest selection in both singles and doubles is the Cougars’ top returning player for the 2025 season, and she will have to face the top players in the PacWest. Her college tennis experience will be invaluable to the Cougars as they look to get back to the top of the conference.
 
2024: Selected by the PacWest coaches to the Third Team All-PacWest for singles and was a second-team selection for doubles with Vini Bautista… Earned a spot on the Academic All-PacWest Team with a 3.96 GPA… Played No. 2 singles and earned a 12-4 record… Went 16-5 in doubles, playing primarily at the No. 2 position with Bautista… Won her first nine matches at No. 2 singles, including a 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 win against Academy of Art’s Maria Casucci as the Cougars defeated the eventual PacWest Champions… Won her first match at the PacWest Championships, beating Hawai`i Hilo’s Nanami Okamoto 7-6, 6-4… Defeated Thelma Sepulveda at Point Loma in the NCAA Division II West Regional to help the Cougars reach the national championships… In doubles, Jordan and Bautista started the year on a seven-match win streak and ended with a pair of 6-1 victories in the NCAA postseason.
 
SAN DIEGO STATE: Played four seasons for the Aztecs… Earned All-Mountain West honors in doubles during her freshman season with Tamara Arnold… Named to the all-conference academic team in 2020 and 2022… In 2022, helped the Aztecs upset No. 2 seed Colorado State in the Mountain West Championships semifinal, clinching the 4-1 victory at No. 6 singles, 6-3, 7-6(4)… The Aztecs went on to win the conference title and qualified for the NCAA National Championships, facing USC in the first round.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Laure Springs Online HS and graduated in 2019… Earned an ITF singles ranking of 1395… Nationally, ranked as high as No. 42 and was a five-star recruit… Played two professional events in Cancun right after graduating high school… Reached the second round of qualifying in the first event and then qualified for the main draw in the second event with a pair of straight-set victories… Faced Fernanda Contreras from Mexico, who has a career-high ranking of No. 139 in the world.
 
PERSONAL: Pursuing a masters degree in educational and clinical counseling… Graduated from San Diego State with a B.A. in political science and a B.S. in health communication… Desires to become an LPCC and a sports psychologist after graduation… Enjoys reading, researching, listening to music, working out and playing with pets.
