Kendyl MacAskill earned All-PacWest recognition, and Medrano was named Libero of the Year.
Medrano, a sophomore transfer from Cal State Dominguez Hills, was honored as the PacWest Libero of the Year and earned second team honors following her first season as a Cougar. Medrano ranked 2nd in conference in digs (456/4.56 avg), and totaled 21 aces and 78 assists on the season. A few stand-out matches include a season-high 37 digs and 11 assists vs. Western Oregon and season-high 5 aces and 10 assists against Vanguard. In total, Medrano posted 19 games with 15 or more digs.
Green, a middle blocker graduate transfer from UC Riverside earned first team honors. She ranked second in PacWest in blocking average (1.16), first in the PacWest in solo blocks (35) and first in total blocks (113). She also ranked No. 2 in the conference in hitting percentage (.409). Green had impressive matches when she posted a season-high 16 kills against CUI and 14 kills on 21 attempts and a season-high 9 blocks against Vanguard. She totaled 277 points on the season and posted 10 or more kills in 6 games and 10 games with 5 or more total blocks.
Redshirt junior
Kendyl MacAskill picked up second team honors after totaling 246 kills on the season, with a season-high 23 against Fresno Pacific in the Cougar's last game of the season. MacAsklill had 9 games with 10 or more kills, posted 82 total blocks on the season, and had 13 kills and season-high 8 blocks vs. Vanguard.
The Cougars ended their 2024 campaign with a 15-12 overall record and a 11-9 conference record, finishing 5th in the PacWest. Graduating seniors include Green, defensive specialist
Brooke Bunker, and outside hitter
Delaney Tate.
