HONOLULU, Hawai'i - No. 17 Azusa Pacific came up short against No. 4 Hawai'i Pacific, losing by a 5-2 score on Saturday evening. The Cougars are 2-1 overall through three matches.

The Sharks opened singles with wins at No. 3, No. 1 and No. 4 to clinch the match overall. The Cougars' first point of the day was claimed by Miruna Tudor at No. 5, where she took the first set 6-1, and then was ahead 4-2 in the second when her opponent, Nicole Ballach, had to retire due to injury.
