ST. GEORGE, Utah — In each of their last PCSC Conference Championships, seniorsÂ
Melia Stout and
Amy Crayne of Azusa Pacific diving took the top two spots in the 3-meter dive competition. Stout totaled 304 points and her teammate Crayne, last year's conference winner, tallied 286 points for the second slot.

How it Happened (Day 1): Stout and Crayne led off the day with stellar performances in the 3-meter dive competition as each were graded on six total dives. Stout won the conference crown at the 3-meter designation for the first time in her career, while Crayne has won this event the past two seasons.
After the dive portion of the program concluded,
Hannah Frey and
Delanie Gearing competed in the 1000 prelims and finals as Frey placed eighth with a time of 10:50.87 while Gearing took 12th with a time of 11:01.18. Next was the 200 medley relay which saw a team of
Marci Yanagawa, Gearing,
Nicole Barton, and
Hannah Swailes finish eighth and collect 44 points.
In the 800 free relay, Azusa Pacific finished in third, the highest finish of the day, with a time of 7:39.44. The relay was led-off by
Riley Smith before
Montana White put the Cougars in contention with a great leg that saw her team climb into second.
Tessie Scavone and
Emily Rigsby finished off the race to help the Cougars to a third place finish and grab 54 points to close out the day.
