Three Provisional Performances To Close Out Competition In Colorado

Track & Field wrapped up competition at the Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Invitational & Multi’s after earning three provisional performances.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo - Azusa Pacific closed out the Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Invite on Saturday. 

HEPTATHLON

Aaron Worrell and Lincoln Krog competed in the final three events (60 hurdles, pole vault and 1000) of the Heptathlon, each achieving provisional scores (4,711). Over the last three events Krog totaled 2,314 points, earning 5,295 points to end the Heptathlon which is a personal-best for him. In the 60 hurdles, Krog also earned a personal-best time of 8.641 seconds. Worrell combined for 2,256 points in the final day, finishing the Heptathlon with 5,349 points. In the pole vault, Worrell achieving a personal-best mark of 4.30m (14' 1/4).

HIGH JUMP 

Raymon Harper competed in the High Jump, earning first place on the day among a field that included Division I competitors. Harper met the NCAA Division II provisional standard (2.03m) while achieving a personal-best mark of 2.12m (6'11 ½).

Up Next: Track and Field will be back in action at the Praire Wolf Invitational (Indoor Meet) in Lincoln, Nebraska on Friday, January 20th.
