SAN DIEGO -- The Azusa Pacific women's tennis team came out victorious over Point Loma to pick up back-to-back wins over Division II top-25 ranked opponents this weekend in San Diego. After taking down No. 18-ranked UC San Diego Friday afternoon, the Cougars finished the weekend with a 4-1 victory over the No. 21-ranked Sea Lions for its second win on the season.

SINGLES: The Cougars took the upper hand with
Jacky Wagner finishing 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 4 slot for the first out of four singles victories to start the morning.
Courtney Page dropped the Cougars' only singles match 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 6 position. Azusa Pacific retailated, securing the next three matches with
Petra Ivankovic at the No. 1 spot finishing 6-2, 6-2,
April Wong at the No. 5 position winning 6-2, 3-6, 6-2, and
Kara Hinton clinching the match with a 7-5, 6-3 victory.
