Azusa Pacific took on the sixth-ranked Division III program Washington University in St. Louis. The Cougar's  are now 10-3 on the season after dropping to the Bears 5-4.

Pascal Engel registered an 8-5 win at the No. 1 spot over the Bears duo of Jason Haugen and Konrad Kozowski . The Cougars went into singles trailing 2-1.

Engel suffered a setback at the No. 2 position to No. 34 John Carswell 6-1, 6-3. The Cougar's Marnix Pluim  fell short 6-1, 7-6 at the No. 3. Teammate Roberto Luconici  recorded a 6-3, 6-3 deficit at the No. 5 slot.

The Cougars finished off the day recording three wins in the last matches to finish.
Cameron Backman registered the Cougar's first singles victory winning 6-0, 4-6, 6-2 at the No. 6 position. Followed by Schmid at the No. 1 slot, beating his opponent in a super breaker 6-4, 5-7, 1-0(10-4).
Antonio Pejic was the last Cougar off the court walking off with a 6-0, 4-6, 6-2 victory at the No. 4 position bringing the final score to 5-4.
The Cougars play again Monday, March 20th at home facing Colorado Mesa at 1:30 p.m.
