The Cougars continue their perfect season after coming back from dropping two doubles matches to beat the Mustangs of Western New Mexico University 5-3.

Oliver Frank and Pascal Engel recorded the Cougars only doubles victory over Vladimir Gnilozubov and Tristan Da Lio 8-3.
 
Frank in the No. 1 singles slot and Antonio Penij  in the No. 5 position both registered 6-1, 6-1 victories over their opponents. In the No. 2 spot, Christian Schmid came back from dropping his first set edging Jean-Laurent Pageault 3-6, 6-3, 6-2. While teammate Shepherd Newcomb clinched the Cougars victory over the Mustangs in three sets 6-4, 5-7, 6-3.
 
"It was a tough match, I thought we battled hard." said head coach Mark Bohren "I'm proud of how we competed especially after coming back from behind."

Azusa Pacific has a busy week ahead of them, starting Thursday, March second at 1:30 pm against Hawaii Pacific University.
