AZUSA, Calif.-- It definitely wasn't a case of the Mondays. 

The Azusa Pacific women's tennis team didn't drop a set, sweeping Hope International 9-0 in a dominating performance on Monday afternoon. The Cougars didn't give up a game in four matches, and tabbed three 6-0, 6-0 victories in singles action to improve to 9-2 this season.

Bethany Duval highlighted the effort, winning 8-0 in doubles, and recording a perfect straight-sets singles win. She paired with Kim Koetterheinrich to beat Becca Roeser and Alyssa Pritchett 8-0 at No. 3 doubles before grabbing a 6-0, 6-0 win against Pritchett at No. 6. Koetterheinrich, who didn't play singles, registered her eighth straight doubles win.

Stephanie Quan went 2-0 on the day, winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 against Roeser after teaming with Brejohn McCrary for an 8-2 victory over Jazmin Zaragoza and Jeannette Rodriguez on court two. No. 10 ranked Emily Harris and Danae Ingwaldson tallied an 8-4 doubles defeat of Caroline Houston and Sabrina Miller.

No. 17 ranked (NCAA Division II) Harris later put it on No. 48 (NAIA) Zaragoza in singles, making quick work of a 6-0, 6-0 match. Ingwaldson beat Houston 6-2, 6-1, while Samantha Kaneta notched a 6-0, 6-3 win against Rodriguez. Lindsey Yeom closed the day, beating Mille 6-0, 6-3 at No. 4 singles.

The Cougars, who have played in three matches in the past four days, will enjoy a week off before welcoming Hawai'i Hilo for a 1:30 match on March 4.
