Make that 21 Straight Over Biola

AZUSA, Calif. – The NAIA's No. 6-ranked Azusa Pacific is looking to get out of a spin in which it has split its past 6 matches, and rival Biola provided the perfect spoil for the Cougars.

Azusa Pacific dropped just 5 games on the day and skated to a 9-0 victory over Biola, the Cougars' 21^st straight win over the Eagles.

Head Coach Mark Bohren shuffled his lineup and the turnaround resulted in some impressive scores. Leah Hoffee moved to No. 1 singles where she downed Joelle Tanaka, 6-4, 6-0. Sheryl Bon won at No. 2, 6-0, 6-0, and likewise Jessalyn Lau produced a clean 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6.

Azusa Pacific took a 3-0 lead following doubles playing, winning 24 of 25 games played.

The Cougars return to the court Thursday when they take a break from GSAC play to host Lewis-Clark State out of Lewiston, Ida.
