Keeping Pace

IRVINE, Calif. -- Azusa Pacific might be ranked No. 4 in the NAIA but the Cougars find themselves fourth in the GSAC and needed a win over Concordia to keep pace as the race for a conference title heats up.

The Cougars responded with a resounding performance as they beat the Eagles, 9-0, to run their winning streak to 4 matches.

Azusa Pacific was dominant in singles play as it posted 6 consecutive straight set wins. On the heels of 3 doubles wins, Jennifer Dao won a close second set against Michelle Esquivel to get the victory.

Peggy Bell also played crisp tennis as she beat Megan Ehlers dropping only 3 games.
