FULLERTON, Calif. -- It does not happen often when a team will drop only 8 games in a dual match. However, Azusa Pacific started the day playing dominant tennis and continued that way until the final point as it crushed Hope International, 9-0.
The Cougars started the afternoon with 3 outstanding performances in doubles play including Christiana Scolinos and Lindsey Cloninger earning an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles.
Jennifer Dao and Kim Tran posted an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles and each went on to earn convincing singles victories. Bay Daniels did not drop a game in her No. 2 singles win over Kari Turner.
Azusa Pacific improved to 5-1 on the season and 3-1 in GSAC play.
