Cougars Make it Look Easy

FULLERTON, Calif. -- Azusa Pacific recorded its eighth shutout of Hope International in the past 10 meetings with the Royals, winning today again by a 9-0 count.

All-American Jennifer Dao took the match off as Head Coach Mark Bohren moved players up the ladder to gain some experience.  The Cougars dropped just 1 game in its top 4 singles matches, with Bay Daniels skating to a 6-0, 6-0 win over Azra Bogcaalin at No. 1 singles.  Mayu Sato and Christiana Scolinos fashioned identical scores at Nos. 2 and 4 singles.  Scolinos teamed with Stacy Wood to cruise to an 8-0 win at No. 3 to highlight a relatively unchallenged doubles competition.
