Honolulu, Hawaii -- Azusa Pacific's quick trip to Hawaii is gladly over. The Cougars managed just one point in its two-match visit after falling today to Hawaii Pacific, 9-0.
The Cougars managed to win just one set the entire day when
Lynn Quitoriano opened at No. 5 singles with a quick 6-1 verdict. She narrowly missed picking up a point for APU after falling 5-7 in the second set. With the team verdict determined, she played a superset in the third, falling 10-2.
The Cougars fall to 16-5 on the season and return home this weekend to host Point Loma Nazarene in a GSAC match.
