AZUSA, Calif. -- The NAIA’s No. 11-ranked Azusa Pacific won its second straight match with an 8-1 GSAC win over Biola Tuesday in Azusa.

With the win, the Cougars improve to 12-2 overall, 4-1 GSAC. Biola, ranked No. 17 in the NAIA, drops to 8-7 overall, 3-4 GSAC.

The Cougars swept through doubles play and then took 5 of 6 singles matches, losing at No. 5, to take the match and stay within striking distance of GSAC-leading Vanguard, which the Cougars host Friday.
