AZUSA, Calif. -- Azusa Pacific took 2 of 3 doubles’ matches and then won the first 5 singles matches to get a 7-2 win over NCAA Division II Cal State L.A. Tuesday in Azusa.

The win is the Cougars’ second straight, while Cal State L.A. drops its season opener.

Jennifer Dao and Mayu Sato teamed for a win at No. 1 doubles, and Lynn Quitoriano and Peggy Bell picked up a win at No. 2 for the Cougars’ pair of doubles points.

Dao, Sato, Bell also picked up 3 of the Cougars’ 5 singles’ points.
