LA MIRADA, Calif. -- Azusa Pacific and Biola split all 6 singles' matches, but the Cougars had already won 2-of-3 doubles' matches to sneak away with a 5-4 win over the Eagles in La Mirada.

Brianne Hahn and Mayu Sato defeated Lura Yano and Kati Leicht, 8-1, at No. 2 doubles, and Hephzibah Segura playing with new partner Marilyn Wise for the first time this year, beat Wendy Sargent and Michelle Shinglar, 8-6, at No. 3.

Christina Earnest (No. 2), Segura (No. 3) and Hahn (No. 5) then won their 3 respective matches to clinch the match for the Cougars.

With the win, Azusa Pacific improves to 3-2 overall, 2-1 GSAC.
